Expert Conference + workshop in organization of Croatian Pharmaceutical Society presents “Cosmetovigilance in Croatia + Workshop: How to report side effects on cosmetic product?“
Cosmetovigilance is a term of recent date, which marks monitoring side effects, ie. adverse effects caused by use of cosmetic products. By Croatian accession to the European Union it has entered into force Regulation (EC) no. 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products containing the basic provisions for the implementation of the integrated approach for the management of serious adverse effects (eng., Serious undesirable effects, SUE) arising out of the use of cosmetics. It is very important that subjects that do business with cosmetic products (manufacturers, distributors, dealers, etc.) have a person in charge who will monitor procedures related to cosmetovigilance and communication with consumers.
The conference was held in Zagreb on 23th 2015.
